MEETING WITH THE DEAN
AND SUB-DEAN CLINICS

The Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
meets with the DVM 4 and DVM 5 students on the 2nd of March, 2017
over different matters.

The Small Animal clinics seemingly
overemphasized above others and the long hour stay till 7pm, all of which were
addressed.

Fixed lecture room for DVM 4 students to take
all their courses instead of walking the length and breadth of Vet to take
classes, this was being taken care of and the 600 surgery lecture theatre was
proposed as the fixed room for lectures except for Clinical Anatomy
-
Students were further encouraged to ensure good
conduct and make extra efforts to acquire knowledge and experience.
AVMS SENATE MEETS

The legislative council of the Association of
Veterinary Medical Students, University of Ibadan meets last Saturday 4th of
March 2017.

The sitting spanned from 10am in the morning
till about 4pm in the evening.

Sacrosanct issues discussed include;

Dues increment by the executive council demanded
to be defended before members of the noble association can proceed to pay.
EKWEREMADU STORMED UI

On Friday 3rd of March, 2017, the former Deputy
Senate President of the Nigerian Senate; Senator Ike Ekweremadu was in the
University of Ibadan to deliver a lecture at Trenchard hall.
AVMS SPORTS TRAINING
COMMENCED

The Association of Veterinary Medical Students
commenced her sports training sessions with football training last Saturday 4th
of March, 2017.

The training which commenced around some minutes
after 4pm did not witness a really considerable amount of participants with
regards to the number of those who registered for the sport and players in each
class.

Sports Secretary; Lawal Harmony and Faculty
Coach, Adeyinka Oluwajoba appreciated those that turned out while urging others
to participate in subsequent training sessions.
ZIK HALL CONSUMMATE
ON ENDORSEMENT

As the crusaders for the forthcoming students'
union elections advance in their campaign, it was gathered that Nnamdi Azikiwe
hall had a meeting of her stakeholders to commence the process of getting some
of their hopefuls in the Students' union.

Insider gist made it known that the first
meeting was held on the night of Friday March 3, 2017 with no particular
headway that could give a clue of who had been chosen for the support of the
hall.
