THE PARROT SPEAKS

DVM PART 11 STUDENTS RESULTS GET RELEASED;34 STUDENTS TO WRITE RESIT EXAMS PHYSIOLOGY.
On Monday, 10th of September, 2018, the results of the previously conducted DVM Part 1 exams were released. The results showed 11.4% failure in both Anatomy and Biochemistry, with 12 students out of 105 scoring less than 50% in the examinations, and with a startling number of 34 out of 105 students failing Physiology, and set to write the resit examinations in the second week of October. However, about 10 students, who failed all three subjects, will not be
eligible to write the resit examinations (so we heard).
Also, one, two and three distinctions were recorded in Anatomy, Biochemistry, and Physiology respectively.
“Generally speaking, the results were good,” the Sub-Dean, Dr T.O Ajibade, commented. “Apart from the repeating students, DVM1 students can generally be considered to have an 80% pass rate. We hope a lot of people will pass the resit exams this time around. Close scrutiny of the results has led to the observation that people who failed are those who fail to come for lectures, leading to their poor performance.”  Is this really true?
