DVM 2
STUDENTS GAVE THEIR OPINION ON THE HARDEST COURSE THEY FOUND MORE TASKING
DURING THE JUST CONCLUDED DVM EXAMS.
As the DVM 2
students finish up their first ever DVM examinations and step into the
Paraclincal phase in Vet school, VNO reporter gathered informations about what
some members of the class thought of as their most tasking subject and Why:
Akinniyi Joshua:
My toughest
subject in preclinicals was Veterinary Anatomy. Reading Anatomy takes extra
diligence. I never had the results I wanted despite all my inputs.
Also, the way
questions were set also added to the tough time.
Questions were set not based
on what we were taught in class. We had a lot to cover but little time to do
that. I think that's basically what made it give me such a hard time.
Tobi Fasiku:
By a long margin, the answer is definitely
Veterinary Anatomy. Some lecturers in Micro Anatomy don't attach any
diagrammatic representation of what they are teaching to their notes. Also,
sometimes, the lecturers will teach one thing in their classes and ask another
thing in the exams. (welcome to the real
world)
OladeleOreoluwa:
Veterinary Anatomy
was the hardest for me. This was due to my negligence though. I thought it was
quite simple, never took it serious from the start. So, it became a problem.
Balogun Samuel:
For me, it was
Veterinary Biochemistry. It was very tough and bulky. Besides, I've always
disliked chemical structures so that was the source of the problem. I didn't
like it at all.
Oni Damilola:
My hardest was
Veterinary Physiology. Personally, I feel Physiology is all about cramming. I
was not a good crammer before Vet school and besides, the notes were very
bulky. So Physiology gave me a tough time, but my determination to pass it well
kept me going.
Uruakpa Glory:
It was Veterinary
Biochemistry because it was bulky and the lecturers didn't make it any easier
for us. It was actually easier than Anatomy but the lecturers in Anatomy made
their notes very simple to read, which did not happen in Biochemistry.
AlabaOpeoluwa:
My hardest was
Veterinary Biochemistry. It was very bulky and we had to cover it within a very
short time. Besides, unlike Physiology and Anatomy, your imagination would not
have helped you understand it better; Biochemistry was the only abstract
subject we studied.
Ayanwale Samuel:
I'd say Anatomy.
Though it could've been the simplest but it was otherwise. This was due to lack
of proper orientation about the subject itself right from the onset.
