MATCHES PLAYED OVER THE WEEKEND.


Chelsea was held on a 1-1 draw by Liverpool on Saturday. The match which ended in a draw as unexpected by Chelsea fans across the globe following the trend of the defeat Liverpool suffered at the Carabao Cup match which ended 2-1 in favor of Chelsea.


Barcelona and Real Madrid seem to be using the same trade mark on the pitch of play having played 3 consecutive games with the same results.




Manchester city remains at the top of the EPL, having been consistent with their current unbeaten form and goal scoring this seasons.

The Vet team, Faculty of Vet Medicine hosted a match with the Department of Botany and Microbiology on Saturday, September 29th, 2018. The match ended in a 3-1 win in favor of the Faculty of Vet medicine. The first half ended in a goalless draw, while the second half was accompanied with a total of 4goals where 3 of the goals was claimed by the Vet team and the other 1 came lately from Botany.


The defending Champion, DVM1, 200L Vet team on Saturday 29th hosted the youngest vet students 100L in a friendly match. As reported by the 200L players, they stated that they had to have quite some matches played prior to the commencement of the Dean's Cup which will serve as a test of their strength.


The match as expected ended in a 4-1 win in favour of the 200L Vet DVM1 team. The match was referred by a DVM4 Student who made sure the match was fair enough without favoritism and sentiments.


DEAN’S CUP STARTS ON SATURDAY, 6TH OCTOBER, 2018.


This is a competition usually organized by the Dean of Faculty of Veterinary medicine with full participation of all the six classes (DVM0-DVM5), which routinely comes up this semester starting on the 6th of October, 2018 (Saturday).


Guess what? Our females will also show us the spirit of sport in them.

However, it should be noted that there would be match on the 13th of October, 2018 because of AVMS Excursion.


And all semi-final matches are to be played at AWO Stadium.





October 6th it is, starting with a war between DVM5 and DVM 3 by 2pm


And a match between DVM4 and DVM2 slated to start by 3pm.
