DEAN'S CUP 2018 AVMS.

The Dean's Cup Tournament of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine continues with another look. Some DVM1 students preferred it is called BATTLE OF THE FOOT or rather FOOT WAR.

Following the results of the Matches played last week, reactions came across the Faculty seeing that the margin of the score line are quite alarming.

The 600l team, DVM 5 suffered 5 goals to nothing from 400l DVM3. The defending Champion 200l, DVM1 replicated the same defeat to the 400l DVM3 With 3 goals to nothing on Wednesday.

300l DVM2, defeated the 500l DVM 4 by 1 goal.

The tournament at some point appeared ugly when certain work over rule had to be implemented as a result of players not coming to play with their opponent while their opponent are on the pitch. As the rule applies in the game of soccer, the team said to be favored with this rule will have a maximum of 3goals and 3points. This was applied to the DVM1 against DVM5, DVM 0 against DVM5, which made the concluding part of the first round of the tournament.

The tournament which featured all levels of the Faculty have in last week taken up to the Semifinals, having finished the first round. The emerging teams and their paired opponent are DVM1 VS DVM0 AND DVM3 VS DVM2.

The battle continues…..
