Welcome to the world of football, after a splendid weekend filled with the good, the bad and the VAR depending on your club anyway.

LA LIGA

Real Madrid completed their dominance over Barcelona as they won both away and at home this season, with goals from Benzema and Kroos and a consolation goal coming from Óscar Mingueza. Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman was left fuming after a penalty decision was not given in favor of Barcelona. Atletico Madrid drew againt Real Betis, leaving Real Madrid at top with 65 point.

ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE

Man city were shocked by 10 man Leeds City who won the EPL leaders by 2-1. Lead City weathered the storm at the Etihad Stadium as they scored their only 2 goal on target (bull eyes right?) with Stuart Dallas being the hero of Leeds.

Man United have continued their unbeaten run in away games (currently 23) as they came back from a goal down to beat Mourinho's Tottenham. Cavani was the man of the match as he scored, made an assist and had a glorious first-half goal ruled out following the latest VAR controversy. Man United won 3-1

Chelsea bounced back from their defeat last week to win Crystal Palace 4-1 with goals from Kai Havertz , Christian Pulisic  and Kurt Zouma and a consolation goal from Christain Benteke.

Arsenal won comfortably against Sheffield United and kept a clean sheet as Lacazette scored twice and Martinelli did a close tap in to complete the 3-0 win.

Liverpool dramatically stopped a six-game run of Premier League defeats at Anfield on Saturday with a 2-1 win against Aston Villa thanks to a late Trent Alexander-Arnold goal. They also ensured that Aston Villa did not do a 2 over them after their humiliating loss against Aston Villa earlier in the season.

We look forward to a beautiful weekday games as champions league continue.

Novak Djokovic proud of breaking the record for weeks spent as world No 1 ahead of Monte Carlo Masters

Novak Djokovic has not played since his record-extending ninth Australian Open title in Melbourne in February but does not feel undercooked for the start of his clay-court swing as he prepares for this year's Monte Carlo Masters

Djokovic eclipsed Roger Federer's record on March 8 when he moved past the Swiss to hold the top ranking for the 311th week fresh from winning a record-extending ninth Australian Open.

The Serb, who turns 34 in May, first rose to the top of the rankings when he was 24 in July, 2011, and spent a personal-best 122 consecutive weeks at the summit of the ATP Rankings between July 2014 and November 2016.

He now has his eyes set on equaling and surpassing the all-time men's Grand Slam mark of 20, now shared by Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

"The historic achievement was of course something that was very fulfilling for me, for my family. It's probably the biggest achievement that I've ever had in my career," said Djokovic, who will meet Miami Open runner-up Jannik Sinner or 2017 finalist Albert Ramos-Vinolas in his opening match at the Monte Carlo Masters.

"If I don't know anything by Tuesday, I'm just going to move on, because it's been a long time in the making," Fury has been presented with lucrative offers to stage his fight against Joshua, with the rival world champions now expected to reach an agreement about the date and venue this week.

Promoter Eddie Hearn, who represents unified champion Joshua, says he is 'very close to reaching a deal', but the WBC champion has indicated that he wants negotiations to be concluded swiftly.

Tatum shines as Celtics rally to cool off streaking Nuggets

LOS ANGELES (AFP) - Jayson Tatum tallied 28 points and 10 rebounds as the Boston Celtics snapped the Denver Nuggets' eight-game NBA winning streak with a 105-87 come-from-behind victory on Sunday (April 11). The visiting Celtics were fueled by a 31-3 run that spanned parts of the third and four quarters after Denver led by 14 points late in the third.

"I think we just picked up the intensity," Tatum said. "I think we communicated a lot better. We started switching a little bit more. I think that helped us out, too.

Tatum's 28 points came just two days after he scored a career-best 53 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
