Two police officers were injured during Sunday's demonstrations, with one hospitalized after "sustaining a significant slash wound to his face", according to Greater Manchester Police.

FRESHERS 3 VS STALITE 2: A traditional match in the faculty of Veterinary Medicine usually played between freshers and stalite came up this Saturday May 1st at Abadina Secondary school pitch.
Freshers who have been playing with one together since the school resumed despite virtual classes have gained enough confidence which fostered their effort towards beating their senior colleagues in the faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
The Faculty striker “Hessy” who scored the only 2goals for the stalites reported that it's been long he played football, which is due to the Covid-19 pandemic. He further said "we will meet them in dean's cup next semester."
