 MASK UP!!! THE NIGHT KING'S ARMY GROWS LARGER BY THE DAY.

I so much like the series - Game of Thrones(GoT) because its storyline can be compared with what the world is experiencing right now. In GoT, the white walkers cause a similar disruption and fear. However, the Winterfell bring together their best fighters, wisest leaders and top strategist to prepare for the arrival of the white walkers. This is the learning we should adopt in our current scenarios. Just like Jon Snow said, to destroy the Night king's army, we need allies, powerful allies which in our current state means we need all hands on deck.

 Even as people began to feel some hope or at least cautious optimism that the pandemic could recede to the background, there was still the threat that new mutations of the Covid-19 virus could bring it back and it might be even stronger and that has started happening.

A major worry right now is the Delta variant which is a highly contagious SARS-COV-2 virus strain that was first identified last December in India and has already swept through Great Britain before reaching the U.S, where it is now the predominant variant.

It is even believed that the Delta variant of Covid-19 is more contagious than the other virus stains. While it is believed that unvaccinated people are at risk, it is also surprising that there have been cases of deaths of those who have also been previously vaccinated, hence we need to take responsibility for our health.

There is no better way to say it than stating categorically that we need to start taking precautions. 

After close to 2 years of fighting this deadly virus, it is tempting but at the same time ridiculous to say that most of us are already immune to this virus based on our lackadaisical attitude towards this virus without getting infected but we need not forget the cases of deaths that are reported daily. Precautions such as the use of nose masks, maintaining social distancing, use of hand sanitiser may look ordinary but will go a long way. We need to watch out for ourselves and those around us. The army of the Night king is coming. Mask up, Vet Medicos!!!!
