HOW TO PREPARE OGBONO SOUP

Step 2: While the meat or fish is cooking, blend the ogbono seeds in a blender until it becomes a smooth powder. Set aside.

Step 4: Add the blended ogbono to the pot with the fried onions and stir well.

Step 6: Add the cooked meat or fish to the ogbono soup and stir.

Step 7: Add chopped pepper, seasoning cubes and salt to taste. Stir properly and allow to cook for an additional 10 minutes.

Step 8: If you want to add vegetables, now is the time. Add chopped vegetables like spinach or ugu to the soup and stir. Allow it to cook for another 5 minutes.

Step 9: Turn off the heat and allow the soup to cool down a bit before serving.
