INTO THE FINAL OF DEAN'S CUP 2023

The defending champions, 500level, and the finalist, 600level, are into the finals yet again.
At about few minutes to full-time last session, it was a 2:0 win as the then 400level were drifting to lift their second dean's cup. The tension became hightened as the then 500level replied with a goal making 2:1. But the whistle was blown as the match was concluded, crowning the then 400level team champions of the dean's cup in 2022.....
On Saturday, the right winger, Aleem of the 600level got a red card and would miss out of the final that would be played after the faculty's general exam this session. He was sent out, following a rough tackle against 100level striker.
Few minutes to the end of extra time, after the 1:1 draw, full-time, Jhaxon delivered his team (600level) by converting the late freekick into a goal, making a 2:1, sending his team through to the final.
The defending champions of the dean's cup, 500level, ushered the CBN and Survival cup winner out of the dean's cup, following a 2:0 victory at an unmatched pressing in the semi-final on Sunday.

Final match would be played after the exam. The sport secretary will communicate what date and venue is suitable for the final match.
