The Independent Veterinary Medical Students Electoral Committee(IVMSEC) had announced the commencement of the sales of forms for senatorial and executive positions for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The announcement was made by the Secretary of the committee, Olorunfemi Elizabeth and e-signed by the Chairman of the committee, Emmanuel Adesokan.
According to the announcement, the forms would be opened from 23rd December, 2024 till 8th January, 2025.
The committee also announced the modalities for the elections as follows:
- President is opened to DVM IV class only.
- Vice President is opened to only DVM III class only.
- General Secretary is opened to only DVM III class.
- Financial secretary is opened to DVM II and DVM III classes.
- Welfare and Health director is opened to DVM II and DVM III classes.
- Assistant General Secretary is opened to DVM I and DVM II classes.
- Public Relations officer is opened to DVM I and DVM II classes.
- Social secretary is opened to DVM I and DVM II classes.
- Sports secretary is opened to DVM I and DVM II classes.
In addition, the candidates for the following executive positions (President, Vice president and General Secretary must have participated actively in a Faculty activity.
